Turning old into new! Two projects in Markt Türkheim - RAU.bayern

The construction sites for our last project in 2024 and the first in 2025 were both in the Türkheim market in Unterallgäu, practically on our doorstep again.

On the one hand, we were commissioned to dismantle and professionally dispose of an old wooden noise barrier that had been treated with chemicals, was very old and technically no longer protected against noise. The client had opted for our ecological RAU climate wall (R3) which offers a sustainable alternative to traditional noise barriers. A noise barrier made from the nature in which it stands. Ecological, economical, effective. Not only is it highly effective in reducing noise, it is also aesthetically pleasing, durable and helps to improve the natural habitat. The job should be completed before Christmas.

The second project in Türkheim was planned for early 2025, as soon as the winter allowed the work to be carried out. Here, too, old wooden walls made of steel beams were to be removed and disposed of professionally. We then installed our space-saving, greenable RAU Rock elements into the spaces between the existing steel beams. Turning old into new! This is how sustainability works!
