RAU Photovoltaics combines ecological noise protection with renewable energy
The RAU photovoltaic system combines effective noise protection with environmentally friendly power generation, creating a solution that combines function, sustainability and economy in one system. The design is based on the RAU Klimawand R3 and can be adapted to different locations. Photovoltaic modules are mounted on the sloped upper end, the orientation of which depends on the local conditions. Depending on the project, up to three rows of solar panels can be integrated. At the same time, the wall remains green and thus combines renewable energy with an ecologically conceived noise protection solution.
The system also offers impressive technical features. The RAU photovoltaic system can be planned individually and, according to the data sheet, can reach heights of up to 12 meters. The base width is variable depending on the height and, according to the diagram, is around 0.8 to 3.0 meters. The data sheet also states airborne sound insulation of 68 dB and sound absorption of 20 dB. The system is complemented by advantages such as a shallow foundation, long durability, the use of excavated material as wall infill and increased acceptance in the surrounding area thanks to the combination of greenery and energy generation.
