RAU Rock noise barrier in Fürstenfeldbruck

Spring is picking up speed and the attractive new residential complex in Fürstenfeldbruck is nearing completion. The noise from the nearby suburban train does not seem quite so attractive. However, the developer has done his bit to reduce the noise and designed the apartments facing the railroad line without windows.

In order to close the gap between the buildings and the S-Bahn, we are building an 8.60m high noise barrier made of 2m x 4m RAU Rock elements. The wall is anchored deep into the ground in sleeve foundations. The massive steel beams, between which the elements are then suspended, are lowered into the sleeves by our 18-ton truck with extension arm. They are then filled with concrete. To ensure that the garden does not appear completely enclosed, doors are provided in the wall through which you can step outside.

Everything still looks very much like a building site. But you can get an idea of our green noise barriers in our references. Later, the wall will be a green backdrop to a pretty inner courtyard.
