"Royal Bavarian Noise Barrier Builder"

The first 2024 project is located in the Allgäu region, within sight of the Allgäu and Tyrolean Alps, close to the famous Neuschwanstein Royal Castle. Our construction site, the 5-star Bannwaldsee campsite, is situated in this idyllic location in Schwangau and is surrounded by picturesque nature. This is not the only reason why we have the wonderful feeling of building a “Royal Bavarian noise barrier” here ;-)

The sustainability aspect plays a particularly important role in a form of vacation close to nature such as camping. As a company in the middle of a nature reserve, the Helmer family bears a great responsibility for nature. That is why the campsite is already very environmentally friendly with solar panels, photovoltaics, combined heat and power plants and heat recovery.

So it was clear that the choice for the new noise barrier along the busy B16 to Füssen was the extensive RAU climate wall (R3) was chosen. It uses natural precipitation and does not need to be watered. Its noise protection, on the other hand, is so intensive that it meets the highest DIN standard requirements. The green vegetation blends in visually with nature. It provides shelter, food and nesting opportunities for songbirds and small animals and is therefore even a measure worthy of recognition under species protection law.
