RAU noise protection in Velden/Austria

The AUEN Resort developer is building exclusive bungalows, detached houses and semi-detached houses in Velden/Austria with fantastic views of the Karawanken mountain peaks. The famous, turquoise-blue Wörthersee lies just behind the houses.

The “Karawankenblick” development area is located in the south of Velden, easily accessible via Keutschacherstraße. Like all roads around the popular Wörthersee, it is very busy and road noise would reduce the quality of living in this new family home development. For this reason, an attractive and ecologically valuable RAU climate protection system was designed for the construction project.

Not an easy task, but one that was ultimately completed to our complete satisfaction. Several green RAU R3 noise barriers had to be erected to compensate for the differences in height along Keutschacher Strasse. However, as everything was once again well planned and perfectly organized, the well-coordinated RAU bayern team was able to build five RAU climate walls in just five days. Total length 80.45 m!
