Special walls provide effective noise protection. Noise protection no longer has to be made of concrete and unattractive to look at.

RAU.bayern stands for lush green, natural noise barriers. What all models have in common is that they are living buildings that blend harmoniously into their surroundings. They are highly effective at keeping out negative environmental influences such as noise, exhaust fumes and particulate matter.

Our RAU noise barriers are low-maintenance. This is indicated by the addition “Extensive” after the model name (as opposed to “intensive care”).

The greenery is planted at the base of the wall so that the plants climbing up the wall always receive sufficient water. This means that RAU noise barriers use natural precipitation as an independent ecosystem and do not need to be watered.

If necessary, we can also install an additional vegetation level at the top of the wall, which also does not require irrigation. In addition, we generally use locally extracted or sourced soils and mineral raw materials for filling. This material retains its volume and is characterized by high resistance and durability.
