ESV Kaufbeuren / RAU Cup for the U13s

Eight U13 teams compete in the RAU Cup of ESV Kaufbeuren.

ESV Kaufbeuren recently hosted the annual RAU Noise Barrier Cup for the U13s. Eight teams competed in a strong field of participants, including the host with two teams. EV Landshut, EHC 80 Nuremberg, HC Innsbruck and ESV Kaufbeuren Gelb played in Group A. And in Group B Neumarkt Auer, the Iserlohn Roosters, SC Deggendorf and ESV Kaufbeuren Red.

On both days of the tournament, the spectators were treated to exciting and fair junior ice hockey. All teams showed great commitment and sportsmanship. ESV Kaufbeuren Red qualified for the final round as group runner-up and secured third place with a win against EHC 80 Nuremberg. ESV Kaufbeuren Yellow only narrowly missed out on the final series due to their inferior goal difference and ended up in seventh place. The final was contested by EV Landshut and SC Deggendorf, with Deggendorf coming out on top and winning the tournament.
