Customized climate wall with extra large plants in Bayreuth
In this private construction project in Bayreuth, a new climate wall with additional RAU Rock was implemented. The system was built between 17.11. and 28.11.2025 and adapted to the local conditions directly on site.
The climate wall has a length of 37.40 m and a height of 2.55 to 3.60 m. In addition, RAU Rock was integrated over a length of 38.25 m and a height of 2.00 m. By adapting the design on site, it was possible to match it perfectly to the property and the structural situation.
One of the customer’s particular wishes was for the green effect to be as quick and clearly visible as possible. Extra-large plants were therefore used for this project. While plants measuring 100 to 125 cm are usually used, plants measuring 150 to 200 cm and 250 to 300 cm were used here.
This created a dense, high-quality and lively impression immediately after completion. The new climate wall combines functional properties with a natural look and creates a significantly enhanced outdoor area with immediately visible greenery.
