A new, sustainable RAU climate change

Deutsche Post AG and LIST Bau Nordhorn are once again realizing a turnkey new construction project: a DHL delivery base is being built in the Schwabach industrial park at Hamburger Straße 1. In the new logistics building, mail items arriving by truck from the parcel center in Nuremberg will be transferred to the delivery vehicles in the morning. The delivery staff will also sort the mail and prepare their routes here. In the evening, the daily shipments return to the center from here.

Postal vehicles in particular now have plenty of space on the 75 or so beautifully landscaped and planted parking spaces in the area. Of course, this delivery traffic is associated with noise. That is why RAUbayern was commissioned to build an effective noise protection was commissioned.

LIST is known for its sustainable neighborhood and project development and for always taking biodiversity into account in its real estate designs. This is why those responsible have opted for our tried-and-tested RAU Klimawand R3 was chosen. The RAU Klimawand is a so-called green noise barrier. This not only means that this noise barrier can be easily planted and is visually appealing, but also refers to various aspects of sustainability: among other things, it is planned and constructed in a resource-saving manner and also demonstrably contributes to species protection protection.

And by the way, it does an excellent job of what it is designed to do: reliably protect against noise.
