Three models combined in one noise barrier project
For the construction project in Buchloe, a special noise barrier was implemented as an individual special construction. The construction period lasted from 17.09. to 11.12.2025. The old wooden wall was first removed before the new design.
The project is characterized by an unusual combination of three different models. Glass elements, RAU Rock and a climate wall were combined in a coherent noise barrier. The result is a functional yet varied solution that blends into the surroundings in a visually appealing way.
The four glass elements were each designed with attached bird protection. Each element has a width of 1.50 m and a height of 3.30 m. In addition, RAU Rock was integrated over a length of 4.50 m and a height of 3.30 m.
The third component is the climate wall with a length of 16.70 m and a varying height of 1.20 to 3.50 m. This combination has resulted in a particularly individual noise barrier project that combines technical requirements, design diversity and ecological elements.
