RAU Klimawand levels out the uneven terrain

In the south of Freising, a new residential quarter is being built on the Seilerbrücklwiesen site. The beautiful area at the gates of Freising with a view of Freising Cathedral Hill is located between the Sebaldhaus and the Schlüterbrücke bridge.

A residential area with a total of around 232 residential units is planned, including a student residence with around 70 places. In addition, two larger block buildings to shield the traffic on the west side as well as numerous garden courtyard houses with a maximum of two residential units will be built. In the north of the development area, a two-storey daycare center in timber construction is planned, offering space for up to 76 children.

The structural concept is also impressive. In keeping with the idyllic Isar floodplains in the immediate vicinity, the color green is also predominant in the residential area. All roof surfaces are planted, attractive green areas and playgrounds surround the houses and almost every residential unit has its own terrace, loggia or garden.

Our green RAU climate wall (R3) fits right into the concept! The over 90 m long, planted noise barrier along the main road will shield the traffic noise so that nothing disturbs this idyll. And so that the visual appearance is also right, we have created a straight upper edge to the noise barrier despite the different heights.
