Start in bright sunshine

RAUbayern is erecting 204.15 m of ecological noise protection along the new construction area in Mühldorf am Inn. At the two passages to the residential area and at the beginning and end, the noise barrier is being built in a quarter circle to effectively shield the traffic noise coming from the side.

The new residential area is characterized by detached and semi-detached houses and forms a unit with a common center, a park that runs through the residential area. This green oasis in the middle of the development is part of extensive ecological measures, such as the greening of flat roofs and low-sloping roofs or simply bird nesting boxes on the buildings. The Bavarian state government, which has purchased a plot of land in the “Am Kirchenfeld” development area for around 140 jobs for qualified employees of the Office for Rural Development of Upper Bavaria, is also setting a good example by building the parking lot area of the new office building underground.

With so much ecological inventiveness and commitment, the RAU R3 climate wall was the ideal choice. Our natural noise barrier is a great way to improve the environment. It not only serves as noise protection, but also as a habitat for animals and plants. For example, the greenery and the backfill of natural material can provide an important habitat for insects, lizards, beetles and birds.
